First, the decline has brought a lot of shorts into the market while traders/investors were on hiatus. As of Friday we are seeing the inevitable bounce and some short covering. Whether or not it will be sustained is yet to be seen. Regardless, this creates opportunities for our group. Feedback from a few of you indicated two of our profiles last week had realistic gains of 5-8% for a total of 10-16% in realizable gains, congrats. Not bad during a market crash while most securities were red. The standards and expectation we hold ourselves to are however much higher than that, so stay tuned and read more about this below.
Our standard coverage for new members
For those of you new to our group, we have not mentioned three separate tickers inside of a single week in nearly two years and we do not want you getting the wrong impression. Our coverage of each profiled company lasts 2-3 days and we typically only profile one and very rarely rarely two securities per week. That is the plan going forward including this coming week. We are excited about a new company profile coming Tuesday 2-16-16 at market open (2-3 day coverage). It is also possible that we will cover a second security Friday morning but, that will not be confirmed until we see how it’s trading throughout the week.
Precious Metals, Oil and ETF’s
Precious metals, Oil and ETN’s/ETF’s follow up to our report at the end of 2014. There are some of you that look to us only for near term gains, daily, weekly and monthly trading/investing ideas. Are members vary from the beginner, the day trader to the very diversified investor who allocates a portion of their funds towards the type of small-cap’s and start up’s we typically profile. For those of you that are more diversified, as we mentioned in December 2014 when the price of crude was dropping like a rock, we wrote about VelocityShares 3x Long Crude Oil ETN- (NYSE: UWTI) as a possible ETN that may have a lot of upside potential once the timing is right for Oil to turn bullish again. We expect oil to return to the $50-$60/barrel range towards the end of 2016. As of now we are still thinking the same as in 2014 this push downward may continue until we see more of the smaller producer’s close operations. We are looking at mid-summer to early fall for a full blown bull market to form in Oil. Precious metals are finally starting to rebound after nearly five years of a bear market. VelocityShares 3x Long Gold ETN (NYSE: UGLD) has been on our radar but is now starting to pull back a bit with the overall markets bouncing off lows. Silver needs to catch up with Gold in my opinion and we could see more of this throughout the year as production is expected to slow in 2016 watch VelocityShares 3x Long Silver ETN (NYSE: USLV).

OTC Markets, Start-ups and some of the largest near term gains our members have ever seen
With the market in bear mode and a possible looming global recession, there are some exciting opportunities in the OTC markets. It is a great exchange for potential large near term gains but, it’s also similar to the wild west. It is a lot harder to borrow shares short on this exchange especially if it is trading under $1/share. As I look back to 2011, 2012 and 2013 heck, even a 450% gainer we had on a Pink sheets security (PFHS) alerted at .59/share in September 2015, I think this arena may be good for some VERY large near term gains for our group this winter/spring. At the end of 2013 just one of our MMJ stock profiles ran from .003/share to .12/share for gains of 3900% in 6 months. Expect to see a few more of these this year.
Small Cap NASDAQ and NYSE growth stories will remain to be our focus
Do not get the wrong idea here, we are by no means abandoning our typical NASDAQ and NYSE $1-$10/share Small Cap growth company profiles. That market will always be our bread and butter. Current focus in biotech, pending FDA approval, new technology, IP and precious metal miners.
This coming week
Tuesday morning 02-16-16 at market open be ready for our new profile. This one has impressive growth potential. It is a technology company trading on the OTC exchange and is the lowest price security we have profiled in over a year. Should be exciting.
