Hemp, Inc. (OTCBB: HEMP) FULL REPORT
North Carolina Governor, Pat McCrory signed House Bill 766 into law Friday, July 17, 2015 and CBD/Hemp Oil is now legal in North Carolina, home to its decortication plant (a natural fiber manufacturing and processing facility). According to the General Assembly of North Carolina Session 2015, the new legislation amends “the exemption for use or possession of hemp extract and permitting the use of hemp extract as an alternative treatment for intractable epilepsy without participating in a pilot study and repealing the epilepsy alternative treatment act in 2012.” In other words, neurologists can recommend a hemp oil treatment to patients that suffer from intractable epilepsy without being part of a pilot study.
This is quite a victory for Hemp, Inc. and its shareholders because Hemp, Inc. owns 9 acres of land with a 70,000 square-foot facility that can process large or commercial quantities of hemp fiber. Its decortication facility also has additional space to build a build a GMP-compliant, co2 Extraction facility to produce CBDs. Now that the State has approved the legalization of CBD/hemp oil, Hemp, Inc. can build this space out in order to accommodate the State’s medical needs, should that decision be made.
To date, however, House Bill 766 allows state neurologists to “recommend” CBD/Hemp oil, they cannot prescribe it. It will not be available through pharmacies nor will patients be allowed to make their own. Currently, those wishing to obtain CBD/hemp oil will have to obtain it by ordering it online.
Secretary of Hemp, Inc., Craig Perlowin commented, “Many advocators and supporters feel this is a huge step for any level of medicinal use of the cannabis plant. Change is inevitable, oftentimes slow, but still inevitable.” Hemp, Inc. executives feel confident that more change is just around the corner now. “How long do you think it will take for North Carolina to allow it to be grown in its own backyard? After these amendments, I suspect not long at all.”
Medicinal benefits of hemp and cannabinoids (CBDs) are feverishly sought after among more “alternative health consumers” in not only the Carolinas but across the country. Hemp, Inc. expects its Hemp Decorticator to revolutionize the manufacturing of raw hemp in the U.S.A. and help Americans transition from non-sustainable synthetic solutions to more hemp-based clean, green solutions.
Hemp, Inc.’s decorticator machinery is the only large-scale commercial decorticator in the U.S. According to Perlowin, there are only five decorticators of this magnitude in the world and Hemp, Inc. owns one of them. The company has video cameras installed throughout its facility in Spring Hope, North Carolina with videos to document its progress. “Currently, we have less than 1 megabyte upload, however, we are increasing that in order to successfully be able to stream video,” said David Schmitt, COO of Hemp, Inc.’s Industrial Hemp Manufacturing, LLC. This will be enough to provide streaming video and people will be able to go the www.hempinc.com website and see the final stages of Hemp, Inc.’s decortication facility buildout, first-hand.
There were 150 acres of kenaf planted this year that is set to be processed at Hemp, Inc.’s decortication plant. The company currently has 5,000,000 pounds of kenaf on hand which it will process.
In other development in the emerging industrial hemp industry and movement, United States Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell secured a provision in the Senate Agriculture Appropriations bill on Friday, July 17, 2015 to allow processing of legally-grown industrial hemp. Senator McConnell was quoted saying, “Kentucky’s industrial hemp pilot programs continue to prosper, and I want to make sure our legal hemp producers can safely transport their crops between states, including to states that maintain processing facilities, so they can fully capitalize on the commercial potential for this commodity.”
According to McConnell’s language in the bill, farmers would be able to transport their industrial hemp crops between states to further process it for commercial purposes. “We have the largest decortication plant in the country, so when that bill passes with the McConnell language, farmers will be able to transport their industrial hemp crops to our decortication facility for further processing. What better rightful return, to the American hemp landscape, than to have hemp legally-grown in the U.S.A. and for products made in the U.S.A.” concluded Perlowin.
Cellceutix, Corp. (OTCBB: CTIX) FULL REPORT
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has agreed to advancing brilacidin into phase 3 for the treatment of Acute Bacterial Skin and Skin Structure Infections (ABSSSI).
During a recently held End-of-Phase 2 Meeting, Cellceutix and the FDA discussed safety and efficacy data that support advancement into phase 3, as well as the basic elements of a phase 3 program. The planned phase 3 program would include two phase 3 ABSSSI studies, as required by FDA Guidance. In addition, the first study would include an interim analysis after a portion of the patients has been enrolled. This would provide an early assessment of both safety and efficacy. As part of the agreement, the Company would submit a Pediatric Study Plan (PSP) within 60 days of the End-of-Phase 2 Meeting.
Dr. Daniel Jorgensen, Cellceutix’s Chief Medical Officer and leader of the team that met with the FDA, was pleased with the outcome of the meeting. “This was a collaborative meeting, and the FDA was extremely helpful in providing guidance on our clinical development program in ABSSSI. The plan for an interim analysis makes sense, as this is a brand new class of antibiotics.”
Brilacidin is the lead compound in a new class of antibiotics known as the defensin-mimetics. These compounds mimic the host defense proteins of the innate immune system, and therefore, have both antibacterial and immunomodulatory properties. Brilacidin has been administered intravenously in over 400 subjects in phase 1 and phase 2, and is currently being evaluated in a phase 2 study as a topical rinse for the prevention and treatment of oral mucositis in cancer patients.
Brilacidin was granted Qualified Infectious Disease Product (QIDP) designation by the FDA in November 2014. The QIDP designation was established as part of the Generating Antibiotic Incentives Now (GAIN) Act for the purpose of encouraging development of new antimicrobial drugs to treat serious and life-threatening infections. Receiving QIDP designation means that brilacidin is now eligible for additional FDA incentives, including Fast Track designation and Priority Review for clinical development, and a five-year extension of market exclusivity.

Rimrock Gold Corp. (OTCBB: RMRK) FULL REPORT
The Ivanhoe Creek property consists of 22 unpatented lode mining claims (440 acres) situated in north-central Nevada on lands administered by the U.S. Bureau of Land Management. The property is situated 63 Km northeast of the mining center of Battle Mountain, and 75 Km west-northwest of the mining hub city Elko. This property lies directly contiguous to the north side of the large, high-grade Hollister Gold-silver mine owned by Waterton Global Mining. Northerly trending mineral feeder structures extend both north and south from Hollister through our mineral properties. Our property lies approximately 25 Km southeast of the high-grade Midas gold-silver Mine of Klondex Mines Ltd.
The gold-silver mineralization at Ivanhoe Creek is associated with northerly-trending uplifted fault-bounded blocks of rocks (“horsts”), which extend northward into our Rimrock property and south into the Hollister mine property. Mercury-bearing silica deposits (“sinter”) locally are associated with gold in Nevada, and mercuric sinters are found at Ivanhoe Creek alongside and above these horsts.
Previous owners drilled 5 shallow exploration core drillholes on the property in 2007 for gold and silver, totaling 791.3 meters. At least two significant gold-silver target areas were discovered by this drilling. Anomalous assay values of gold and anomalous silver values were present in each hole drilled. More importantly, a local high assay value of 7.64 ounces per ton silver in hole 07-10 between 426-436 feet core length; true width not known. This latter silver-rich intercept also contained high values of 1130 ppm tungsten, more than 100 ppm mercury, and 0.02 ppm gold. The high tungsten values suggest the basement here was contact metamorphosed similar to basement in the Hollister Mine proper.
Rimrock Gold has compiled the geologic, geophysical, drilling, and geochemical databases for the Ivanhoe Creek property. The company conducted a preliminary evaluation of these data and concluded that the Ivanhoe Creek property holds good potential for discovery of a new Hollister-type gold mineralized body, or an extension to mineralization present on the Hollister Mine property. Rimrock Gold’s VP of Exploration now will conduct follow-up field examinations of the outcropping mineral systems, recording geology, a new structural analysis, and conducting new sampling where needed. These data will be incorporated into our gold deposit models to best project the locations of possible ore shoots and their structural projections.
Rimrock Gold Corp. controls the Ivanhoe Creek, Rimrock, West Silver Cloud, and also 100% interest in the large 11,480 acre Silver Cloud Property, subject to existing third party NSR royalties.
