The Company is dedicated to the development of simple, yet powerful, sample-to-result technology and products that provide fast, multiple-pathogen diagnoses of infectious diseases. The Company has FDA Clearance on tests for Clostridium difficile and Group B streptococcus. The Company’s vision is to make molecular diagnostic testing so simple and cost-effective that every patient will be tested for every serious infection, reducing misdiagnoses and significantly limiting the spread of infectious disease. Fast, accurate results. More answers. One easy-to-use and cost-effective system. Only Great Basin is delivering a powerful product pipeline of tests and panels that allows every lab to adopt molecular diagnostics that will assist clinicians in better diagnosing and managing patients’ outcomes. The company sells its diagnostic tests through a direct sales force in the United States, as well as through distributors in the European Union and New Zealand. Great Basin Scientific, Inc. is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah.
