Good morning and welcome to all our new members,
Rightscorp, Inc. (OTCQB: RIHT)
Rightscorp is leading the way of the crackdown on Internet piracy of music, movies and other copyrighted materials.
The problem has been how do you collect from internet piracy and how do you collect the 250k in fines. Rightscorp has provided a comprehensive and effective answer to this problem.
Here is a simplified explanation of how it works. Please take the time to read the articles below as well.
By teaming up with internet service providers (ISP’s) RIHT has implemented a system that works like a charm. Let me explain, say your average Joe downloads a pirated song by a major artist. After a few days or weeks a notice in the mail arrives from his internet service provider in conjunction with Rightscorp insisting payment of $20 for his indiscretions. Joe has two options let his ISP terminate his internet connection all together or pay the fine. This can be billed on a per case basis also, meaning $20 for each song Joe downloaded. The $20 is split between the owner of the copyrighted material and Rightscorp.
Let’s start our due diligence with some third party articles that were recently issued about this company.
