During its 12th consecutive appearance at HRS, the Company will share results of recently published clinical studies, new technology enhancements, user experiences, and simulations of its computer-controlled mapping and lesion formation capabilities at Booth #1631.

In the HRS Rhythm Theatre on Friday, May 6, Stereotaxis will host a lunch symposium featuring the latest insights and clinical research by experienced users. Chaired by Dr. Mauricio Arruda (University Hospitals Case Medical Center), who has completed more than 1,200 procedures using the Niobe® remote magnetic navigation system, the session will provide impressive clinical results of the Niobe system in the treatment of ischemic and non-ischemic ventricular tachycardia (VT) patients, and a discussion of the Company’s multi-center, randomized, superiority study of VT ablation outcomes. Guest speakers include Dr. Luigi Di Biase (Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Hospital), Dr. Hiroshi Nakagawa (Oklahoma University Medical Center), and Dr. Tamas Szili-Torok (Erasmus Medical Center).

Dr. Andrea Natale, Executive Medical Director of the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute at St. David’s Medical Center, recently spoke to EP Lab Digest about the value and potential of remote magnetic navigation in electrophysiology for its May issue, which will be available at HRS. In the article, Dr. Natale said, “The people that have actually invested the time to become proficient with remote magnetic navigation and its learning curve, and addressed the differences between magnetic and manual navigation, love this technology and find it difficult when magnetic navigation cannot be used in a procedure.” Dr. Natale is serving as global principal investigator for the Company’s MAGNETIC-VT multi-center randomized study, which he believes could establish remote magnetic navigation as the “gold standard” for certain VT procedures.

In its exhibit space, Stereotaxis will highlight the latest innovations to its Niobe system including the next generation user interface, which includes new features such as improved catheter tip-to-tissue contact confirmation based on bipolar impedance information. During the HRS Rhythm Theatre on Friday, May 6, Dr. Hiroshi Nakagawa will also share the development progress for the lesion assessment and prediction tool called Magnetic Ablation Index. Each of these software features can provide valuable information to physicians while they are ablating tissue and also furthers the ongoing efforts to fully automate the execution of physician-defined ablation strategies. Report for: Nutrisystem

Nutrisystem Inc. NTRI reported first-quarter 2016 adjusted earnings of 13 cents per share, which beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 6 cents and surged 30% on a year-over-year basis. Adjusted earnings exclude 4 cents of initiative expenses related to the South Beach Diet and Shake360.

Revenues increased 18.1% to $162.1 million and edged past the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $152 million. Revenues also beat management’s guided range of $148 million to $158 million. The impressive performance was primarily driven by new customer growth, improved reactivation revenue ($40 million) and higher revenue per customer in the direct channel.

Revenues from new customers in their initial diet cycle were up over 15% in the quarter, primarily driven by increased customer starts, improved pricing, higher Shake purchases and increased sales of more flexible options that the company is marketing.

Adjusted EBITDA (excluding initiative expenses of $1.7 million for the South Beach Diet and Shake360) rose 21% year over year to $9.7 million.

Total costs and expenses increased 19.3% from the year-ago quarter to $158.3 million, primarily due to higher marketing (up 24.5%) and cost of revenues (up 19.3%) in the reported quarter.

This March, Nutrisystem in collaboration with Walmart WMT started a twelve week roll-back campaign which successfully drove increased sales volume and awareness.

However, operating income declined 16.3% year over year to $3.8 million due to higher expenses.

During the quarter, Nutrisystem authorized a share repurchase program, whereby the company may repurchase up to $50 million of its common stock over the next 18 months in open market transactions.

Guidance

Nutrisystem forecasts second-quarter 2016 revenues in the range of $145 million to $150 million. Adjusted EBITDA is expected in the band of $27.5 million to $29.5 million. Earnings are forecasted in the range of 48 cents to 53 cents, including expense of 2 cents related to South Beach Diet and Shake360 initiatives.

Full-year 2016 revenues are forecasted in the range of $517 million to $532 million, up from the previous range of $505 million to $525 million. Management now expects reactivation revenues to grow in the double-digit range for full-year 2016.

Revenues from retail channel are now projected at $36 million, up almost $1 million from the year-ago quarter.

Adjusted EBITDA is now estimated in the band of $66.0–$70.5 million, up from the previous range of $62.5–$67 million.

Earnings are now forecasted in the range of $1.17 to $1.27 per share, up from the earlier guided range $1.09 to $1.19. The guidance excludes the expected impact of the South Beach Diet and Shake360 initiatives (14 cents).

Capital expenditures are still expected to be approximately $12 million to $14 million for full-year 2016, flat with the 2015 figure. Approximately $2 million to $3 million of this capital expenditure relates to the South Beach and Shake360 capital investment.

For full-year 2016, Nutrisystem expects an improvement in gross margins on a consolidated basis, buoyed by higher average selling price and effective management of food and distribution costs.

Oppenheimer maintained an Outperform rating and $17.00 price target on Match Group (NASDAQ: MTCH) following the company’s 1Q earnings report. North American dating drove an EBITDA beat as revenue came in 2% above the Street’s expectations. Full-Year EBITDA guidance of $410M-$425M is 1%/2% above current Opco/Street estimates. The company also introduced Tinder Ending PMCs, in the investor presentation, with 4Q subs of 1.023M, +27 q/q from 804k in 4Q.

Analyst Jason Helfstein commented, “After the close, MTCH announced much better than expected 1Q EBITDA on margins, while maintaining back-ended weighted FY EBITDA guidance. While paid subs were lower than expected, pricing (ARPPU) was better than expected on ala carte features. MTCH also disclosed ending Tinder subs, which was better than our model. Investors will question weaker 1Q paid member count, but mgmt. will likely suggest greater marketing efficiency, which drove margins. Conference call is 8:30AM ET.”

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) _ Genie Energy Ltd. (GNE) on Wednesday reported first-quarter net income of $6.5 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Newark, New Jersey-based company said it had net income of 26 cents.

The provider of oil and gas energy services posted revenue of $58.1 million in the period.

Genie Energy shares have dropped 42 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 45 percent in the last 12 months.

Crude oil prices could fall
The IEA (International Energy Agency) estimates that crude oil production from non-OPEC (Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries) producers would see the biggest decline in the past 25 years. Crude oil price forecasts
Natixis Global Asset Management suggests that bearish sentiments could push Brent crude oil prices to as low as $30 per barrel in the short term. Barclays (BCS) suggests that Brent crude could average around $36 per barrel in 2Q16. Goldman Sachs (GS) estimates that Brent crude oil prices will average $35 per barrel in 2Q16. Oil consultancy Ritterbusch & Associates reported that WTI (West Texas Intermediate) crude oil prices have key support at $35 per barrel.

The EIA (U.S. Energy Information Administration) estimates that Brent crude oil prices will average ~$34 per barrel in 2016 and $40 per barrel in 2017. West Texas Intermediate crude oil prices are expected to average $34 per barrel and $40 per barrel during the same period, respectively. Russia, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia are producing near-record levels. Geopolitical tension between Saudi Arabia and Iran could motivate the countries to fight for Market share. SAO PAULO, May 4 (Reuters) – Shares in Gol Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes SA posted their biggest intraday gain in over five weeks on Wednesday, a day after Brazil’s most indebted airline proposed investors to take losses of up to 70 percent on $780 million of outstanding bonds.

Nonvoting shares of Gol, which has Delta Air Lines Inc among shareholders, jumped as much as 15.4 percent to 2.92 reais in early Wednesday trading. The stock is down 67 percent in the past 12 months but recently gained on speculation of a debt restructuring plan.

Late on Tuesday, São Paulo-based Gol announced a plan to exchange outstanding bonds for new debt valid through June 1. Under terms of the plan, investors in Gol’s perpetual bond would assume a 70 percent loss, while those holding notes due in 2020, 2022 and 2023 would have to take on a so-called haircut of 65 percent.

The loss proposed for bondholders of the 2017 notes was put at 30 percent. The plan, which calls for the postponement of almost all debt repayments scheduled for this and next year and additional funding worth 300 million reais ($85 million), could help Gol stretch out maturities while reducing the burden of onerous debt-servicing.

According to Rogerio Araújo, an analyst with UBS Securities, Gol’s decision was “a great first step, but not enough if operations do not stop burning cash.”

Gol is the latest Brazilian company to negotiate a debt restructuring with creditors as Brazil’s harshest recession in decades, rising borrowing costs and accelerating inflation hamper the airline’s ability to repay liabilities.

Gol’s outstanding liabilities, including aircraft leases, reached 17 billion reais as of December.
